南阳古镇简介
南阳古镇，距济宁市区约40公里，位于微山湖北部的南阳湖中，古老的京杭大运河穿镇而过。古镇北依济宁城区，紧靠山东三大都市带，南面是江苏的苏北地带，东面是国际旅游目的地孔孟故里曲阜、邹城，西面是牡丹之乡菏泽，南阳镇离京福高速30公里，距济宁机场60公里，区位优势明显。
南阳镇是微山湖中、运河线上最有特色的镇子。在古时，村镇依运河而建，元朝至顺二年（1331年），在这里建起南阳闸。明隆庆元年（1561年）漕运新渠竣工，南阳成了商埠。其后明清两代，这地方“鱼船、酒船、商船，往来相接，群聚檐檣林立如街市”。北来运大豆、羊皮、煤炭的船只，南来载糖、纸、竹器、丝绸、煤油的船只，都在这里停泊，一时号称“小苏州”。在繁盛时，南阳镇曾有皇宫所、皇粮殿、二爷庙、火神庙、魁星楼、文公祠、禹庙、杨家牌坊、不沾地旗杆等30多处名胜古迹。清政府曾在此设守备及管河主簿。皇帝下江南也曾慕名在镇上逗留。
如今南阳镇所统辖的80多个村庄星散在15万亩湖面上，或以莲荷相接，或以苇田相连，或以明水相通，出镇下村，必定要驾小船。运河穿镇而过，河湖串联，水路交错。这种“岛在水中、河在岛上、镇在湖内”的特殊景观在整个运河从南到北独树一帜。

微山湖民俗博物馆（南阳阁）简介
微山湖民俗博物馆是收藏、陈列民俗物品，研究民风民俗，弘扬民间优秀传统文化的专门机构，座落在运河古镇南阳,是经微山县文化局微文字[2006]18号文件批准、民政局注册鲁HG2089号，在南阳旅游接待中心二楼大殿布展,由微山县南阳旅游开发有限公司承办,采用仿古式建筑格局,占地1000平方米,是鲁西南地区第一家民俗博物馆，是运河文化、渔家文化的集中展示区。
微山湖民俗博物馆有主展厅和若干分展厅组成。馆藏内容涉及渔湖民传统生产渔网具、生活用具、服饰、手工艺品、水生动植物标本、运河风俗等。大至渔船网箔小至一钩一卡，可谓包罗万象，应有尽有。走进微山湖民俗博物馆，倘佯在渔家文化、运河文化的历史长河中，微山湖民风民俗、运河风情尽收眼底，南阳古镇景区概貌一览无余。对于中老年观众来说，这些藏品似曾相识，又恍然如梦，对于青少年观众，显得新奇有趣。岁月流逝，但记忆却可以通过物化的形式得以保存，人们在享受现代化生活的今天，通过微山湖民俗博物馆可以穿越时空，重温数十年甚至数百年前渔民的衣食住行，会更加清晰地感受到历史变迁的强劲脉搏。特别是一年一度在这里成功举办的南阳新春民俗文化展演为弘扬南阳文化、展示民俗风情，丰富群众文化生活发挥着重要作用。
微山湖民俗博物馆作为南阳古镇景区缩影和重要景点，深受中外游客青睐，有不看民俗馆枉做南阳客之感。

Nanyang Ancient Town Introduction
About 40 kilometres away from Jining City, Nanyang Ancient Town is located in Nanyang Lake to the north of Weishan Lake and is passed through by Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal. To the north, the Town is next to Jining City District and beside South-west City Corridor of Shandong Province——one of the Three Metropolis of Shandong Province. To the south, there’s Northern Jiangsu Area; To the east, there are Hometowns of Confucius and Mencius——Qufu and Zoucheng, two international touring destinations; To the west, there’s the hometown of poeny——Heze. Nanyang is 30 kilometres away from Jinfu highway, and 60 kilometres away from Jining airport.Its regional advantages are quite noticeable.
Nanyang is the most characteristic town in Weishan Lake and on the line of the Grand Canal.In the ancient time, villages wre built along the Grand Canal.In the second year of Emperor Zhishun of Yuan Dynasty(1331A.D.), Nanyang Dam was built. In the first year of Emperor Longqing of Ming Dynasty(1567 A.D), a new river transporting channel was completed, then Nanyang became an important commercial port. And in Ming and Qing Dynasty, the channel was more like a bustling street, vessels like fishing boats,wine boats and merchant ships shuttled frequently. Ships with Soybeans, sheepskins and coals from north and with sugar, paper, bamboo wares, silk and kerosene from south were all harbored here. Because of its prosperity, people called the Town “little Shuzhou”! At that time, Nanyang once had over 30 places of interest, such as Huanggongsuo, Huangliangdian, Eryemiao temple, Huoshengmiao temple, Kuixinglou building, Wengongci, Yumiao temple, Yangjiapaifang, Overground Flagstick etc.The Qing government used to establish garrison officer and river managing registrar. Emperor Qianlong of Qing Dynasty once stayed here out of admiration.
Nowdays, over 80 villages of Nanyang distribute in 150 thousand chinese acres of the lake. They are linked by lotuses, by reeds or by water. There is no way out of the town without boats.The Grand Canal passes through the Town, rivers and the lake is linked together, and waterways are crisscrossed. All these make a distinct scenery.
